Joy 2015 Movie Review
This is one hell of an Oscar bait. Releasing it in close proximity to Oscar season, a huge cast of actors the academy loved in the past and a story of a woman fighting the societal hardships of being a female (I have no problem with the theme, but it catches on a LOT, think the Iron Lady, Black Swan, Million Dollar Baby, Boys don't Cry, Shakespeare in Love and so on) The academy will love this one as long as it's at least decent. If it's a stinker it will crash and burn.
